The topographic map is used by a variety of interested parties, such as land owners, engineers, architects, planners, developers, landscape architects and governmental agencies for numerous uses, ranging from land use or development.
The purpose of a land boundary survey includes researching of information affecting and influencing the location of the boundaries, ownership lines, and may include rights of way and easements within or surrounding a particular parcel of land together with field work as needed to establish or re-establish locations of boundary lines and corners.
The purpose of the construction survey is to establish as well as maintain horizontal and vertical control of a construction project and at the direction of the client, project representative or contractor and may include staking and setting of grade stakes for building and structure locations, roads, driveways, curb and gutter, sidewalks, paving and other improvement features. Services may also include providing a post construction survey for the client or public agency.
